ESRI recommends that all users of ArcSDE9.0 and ArcSDE9.1 download and install the appropriate ArcSDE9.x General Update Patch. This patch contains performance improvements, maintenance fixes, and fixes a potential data issue.

The ArcSDE9.x General Update Patch is available for download now for most supported databases and operating systems. Patches for the remaining databases and operating systems will be released within the next week. A document that outlines a process to determine if a data issue exists and a database repair utility are also available.
