Software - ESRI

ESRI is pleased to announced that MapObjects - Java Edition 2.1 is now available.

MapObjects-Java Edition is a powerful collection of pure Java client and server-side components used to build custom, cross platform mapping and GIS applications.

Highlights of MapObjects-Java Edition Version 2.1 include

  • Support for Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) raster image data.
  • Improved layout and printing capabilities.
  • Major performance improvements when browsing image directories or loading images.
  • Support for nautical miles as a unit for map scale bar and measurement tools.
  • Numerous bug fixes.
