Both ArcMap 9.0 and 9.1 provide user with a Grid Wizard to create a measured map grid on their map. The wizard allows users to customize most properties of the gird, but the labeling format could not be controlled. Users should convert the map grid to graphics, and then modify each text element to their desired format. This tool allows users to add prefix and suffix for the labeling texts. It will then generate a grouped graphics of a generic measured map grid which is added onto the page layout view.
